How my journey began

I am the nerd that had a successful business at the age of 13 washing boats on the Mississippi River. I wrote business proposals, tracked a budget, and filed my own taxes at the age of 17.

When I thought about a future, I decided to earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting and Business Administration with the goal of running a business. By tackling that 4-year double major while also working full-time, I quickly saw the importance of time management and prioritization without losing a high-level of customer service internally and externally.

Back of the house in restaurants, behind the scenes in banking, multiple hat wearing in private equity aviation & real estate, as well as various other opportunities to learn, I have really seen a variety.

It doesn’t matter what industry you’re in, all businesses need to evaluate their pricing, spend time creating some kind of contingency plans, and keeping boundaries with customers and your time.
